Well, it took a while, but it’s finally here: automatic data synchronisation on all your iOS devices. And even if you have just one device, Eternity Cloud can serve as an automatic backup of your time log.
How does it work? Once you sign up and perform initial sync, you can just forget about it. From then on, Eternity will take care of keeping your data in sync automatically.
If you want Eternity to sync in the background, please enable it in iOS Settings->General->Background App Refresh. If not, Eternity will only sync when you open or close it. You can always sync manually from the Eternity Cloud view.
It’s very robust and bandwidth friendly so it will not drain your battery or data plan. But if you worry about that anyway, you can disable background refresh in iOS Settings->General->Background App Refresh and cellular data usage in Settings->Cellular. And on iOS 8.0 you can disable both in one place: iOS Settings->Eternity.
Eternity Cloud is available in the full version for a modest subscription – just $9.99/year.
Update now to version 3.0 and enjoy :)
And if you don’t log your time yet, go get Eternity on App Store now. Every second counts ;)
