Tag based reports
Eternity has been supporting tagging for some time now. You could tag log entries and then use them to filter reports and in exported data. Now you can also see tag based reports on any level of your activities hierarchy.
This gives you quite a lot of flexibility as to how to track your time. You can track multiple projects with sub-projects and tag log entries as “consulting”, “testing”, “web”… Then you can generate reports and see how much time you spent on each: for individual projects, sub-projects or in general. Tag reports for every level of activities can also be exported in a separate CSV file. I think, it’s a powerful stuff! And it’s free for all users ;)
Automatic reports rounding
If you like round numbers or are required to report such, you can now generate reports rounded up, down or to the nearest 1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
You can select to round durations of individual log entries or calculated sums, depending on your preference or policy you agreed to, for example, with your client. It’s done without overwriting your data so you can generate reports with different rounding options for any project or period of time. This functionality is available as an In App Purchase (IAP).
Reports view has been reorganized to give you one-tap access to custom logs and exporting. The hierarchy level you’re on is now displayed as “breadcrumbs” row so you can easier navigate to upper levels or to the top of your report.
Version 3.5 also comes with graphic updates all around and a splash of color. It’s available for devices running iOS 8.2 or newer. Enjoy :)
